Ladakh the most marvellous place in India
Ladakh is a desert in the eastern part of Jammu and Kashmir. A very little agriculture possible in this region doesn’t receive any rainfall and is covered by the snow for a large part of the year. There are only very few kinds of trees can grow in the region. For drinking water, people depend on the melting snow during the summer months.

People here keep sheep and goats. The goats in this region are known very special because they produce pashmina wool. This wool used to produce the most precious Pashmina shawls. The people of Ladakh carefully collect the wool and sell this in the Kashmir. These shawls are mainly woven in Kashmir.

People eat meat and milk products like cheese and butter. Every family own some goats, sheep, cows and yaks. Ladak always attract traders. They made a better relationship between the Tibet. People export spices, textiles and raw materials to the Tibet. Ladakh is also known as the “Little Tibet”.
