National Institute for Career Education(NICE) conducting National Scholarship Exam to provide financial aid for students from 5th std. The scholarship will support students from 5th to 12th and college students in Diploma and any degree. College students from any year and all streams can apply.
The NICE foundation was created under the trust act 1882 from Govt. of India. They are working in both educational and commercial training. NICE Foundation is an educational trust formed by the intellectual persons in the field and filling the voids in the career gaps. They increase the student’s performance in competitive examinations like IIT-JEE, G-MAT, GRE etc. With the current educational system, students are carefree and confident as they are getting Higher education. There are more possibilities parents may lose track of their child’s progress also it has limitation with preparing students for competitive & scholarship exams.
National Scholarship exam:
NICE foundation’s National Scholarship exam identifies the students reasoning abilility and improves their capability on other exams. Also, this exam pinpointing the areas of strength and weakness of the student. The NICE foundation took the task of searching for young talents through scholarship exams.
Eligibility for the National Scholarship Exam:
- Students from 5th std to 12th std on Boards like state, CBSE and ICBSE can apply.
- Diploma and Degree students from all sorts of streams and years can apply.
- There’s no age limit.
- Students can write the exam in either English or regional language.
- The entire paper will be based on objective type. Each question has four options.
- Total questions – 100
- Each question carries one mark, and there are no negative marks.
- The duration of the exam is 90 minutes.
- Mathematics and General Sciences: 25 Questions
- General Knowledge: 25 Questions
- Reasoning: 25 Questions
- Comprehensive: 25 Questions
The application starts from 1st July 2021, and the last date for apply 30th September 2021. The exam will be held on 12th December of this year.
The exam centre will be allocated within 30km from the school or college.
“Due to the pandemic situation, exam centres are most probably not allocated. So you can attend the exam from home by using your laptop or computer or nearest cyber cafe or any computer centre.“
All participants receive a certificate of participation. The top 5 students in each section were awarded the cash prize based on the standard and rank. Students from rank 6-100 will receive consolidated rewards. Also, there’s an award for the best school, principal and teacher for providing more ranked students.
How to apply National Scholarship Exam?
You can apply in both online and offline modes. In the online process, you need to upload your passport size photo. There’s no need to send the application through postal. The payment for the examination is made by Credit or debit cards, Paytm, Netbanking etc.
Applying offline requires downloading the application form from the official site and fill them appropriately. Payment made by the Demand Draft. Application from school or college needs to send their students’ application form, mentioning letter and DD in a single envelope.
The application will send through speed or registered post or any other courier service. The application will receive the high or branch address within the time limit.
The application fee for all students is Rs.400. Application sent after 30th September with a late fee of Rs.50.
